Heritage lime rendering in Somerset
Traditional lime systems and sympathetic renovation of older farm buildings, farmhouses and historic-style properties.
Respecting older buildings
Somerset Rendering has experience working with heritage lime systems on old farm buildings and other renovation projects. Traditional buildings can behave differently from modern houses; suitable breathable materials and careful preparation matter.
Lime rendering and traditional renovation
We can discuss lime render, lime plastering, traditional finishes and repairs as part of a renovation. The right specification depends on the existing substrate, condition of the building and any heritage or conservation requirements.
